Be vigilant folks! These scammers are getting good! I had 6 emails from PayPal this am wanting me to open DocuSign documents. Saying my account had fraudulent charges. I didn't open any of them, just signed out and logged into my PayPal and there was no messages as well as no problems with my account.

I got this scam email 5x in my email box this morning. There are a couple of things to note.

1. It didn't come to the email address I use for PayPal.

2. Real PayPal emails don't come from DocuSign or Gmail. They come from Paypal(dot)com.

Nice try, scammers, but you lose. I'm not clicking on a link or calling your phone number. Welcome to "DELETE".

Scam alert: Yesterday I received four identical emails (first red ) claiming to be from PayPal about a supposed unauthorized transaction on my account. I immediately logged into PayPal and checked my account. There was no such transaction. The emails contained a DocuSign document that they wanted me to download and sign to "get a refund". I forwarded one of the emails to phishing(at)paypal(dot)com and marked all four as spam.

PSA: Please be alert and careful about phishing attacks. They can look very authentic. When you see something like this, don't panic and react instantly. Check for telltale signs like weird email addresses. Never click a link, download a document, or call a phone number from such an email. Contact the company directly through a trusted channel to confirm whether the email is legitimate. Cybercriminals are using AI to make their scams more convincing. Be careful out there.

If you use PayPal there is a Docusign scam going out. Here is the information that I get everyday from this scammer. DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING! Just DELETE it! Yes, it looks very "Official" but I have been working with PayPal for about two weeks trying to get him stopped. This is NOT PAYPAL!

Beware guys. I just received five emails from Docusign from an individual saying my BitCoin purchase was tied up at PayPal. I didn't make a purchase. Needless to say I reported the emails as a scam. Don't sign anything you weren't specifically waiting for. These scammers are getting pretty creative.
