Is Camtrix a Scam at getcamtrix.com?

I think Camtrix is a scam because the camera battery lifetime is about 1 hour, so there is no point in putting them outside because they are not waterproof and would require a power feed. The "night vision" doesn't work. The outside of my house is very well lit and the camera picks up nothing - so the idea of protecting my motorcycle on the street is out the window. The app is appalling, with no instructions, so you have to guess what the buttons mean - and most don't do anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS otherwise, you are throwing your money away.

Cheap junk and a scam. They claimed to be featured on Fox, Gizmodo, Forbes The Verge, Wired, TechCruch, and TechRadar, but I could not find any article on those websites about Camtrix.
