The Alpine bank scam text message below, which claims recipients' accounts are currently on hold for security concerns, is being sent by scammers hoping to trick their potential victims into clicking the link in it. The link goes to a phishing and fake Alpine Bank website that steals account, personal and fianancial information.

If you receive a questionable text message or email claiming to be from Alpine Bank, please send a copy to reportphish@alpinebank.com.
Always remember; be cautious of unsolicited messages asking for you to act, do not click on links in messages and when in doubt, contact the bank at a known phone number.
If you suspect fraudulent activity on your account, Alpine Bank customer service and internet banking support representatives are available to take your call Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at 800-551-6098.
