Champion Strategy Holdings Scam Robocalls

I keep receiving "Champion Strategy Holdings" robocalls from a Michelle Lewis from 951-364-6293, asking me to call 877-311-2348. She said I had a pay day loan from 2016 for thousand something and that I can settle for $800 dollars. I told her I never took out a pay day loan and hung up on her.

They are most likely fake debt collection scammers.

-Their physical address is reportedly vacant

-Their website is mostly inaccessible, except for the homepage.

-Their website doesn’t mention anything about debt collection

-They almost never answer when calling them

-One of their call back numbers is actually associated with a fake Google scam

-They primarily rely on legal threats, which debt collectors are not legally allowed to do.

-Their voicemails emphasize a sense of

urgency

-According to reviews on BBB, they give inaccurate and misleading information. In other words, they are liars.

-Their “representatives” are extremely rude

-They don’t answer complaints on the BBB website.

-There are many complaints and reviews on the BBB website that clearly indicate how shady Champion strategy holdings is.

-There is almost no information about them on the web

-They evade questions

-When they do answer the phone, they don’t say who they are and may wait for you to say “Hello”. If you don’t say anything, they’ll hang up. Any real debt collector would instantly identify themselves and their company as soon as they pick up. Champion strategy holding’s doesn’t.

I don’t know if I actually received a call from them but I did get an “out of area”(No caller ID) call which I called back anonymously through the spydialer website and all I could hear was a strange chiming song which is identical to the one used by a different number which was used by champion strategy holdings but not anymore. Now they just have a prerecorded message from some “Karen” sounding lady saying to leave all kinds of personal info after the tone.

Do not give them any kind of personal info. Also Credit sage has a very inaccurate/outdated article saying that they are “legit”. That article is misleading because all the signs indicate that Champion strategy holdings is most likely a scam. In fact, many other websites also say that Champion strategy holdings is not legit. They may have been a legit company at some point but not anymore. So whoever is calling saying that they are Champion strategy holdings is a scammer pretending to be them.

How I wish the feds would investigate them. But of course they don’t actually care about the consumer and have a “We’ll get to it, when we get to it.” attitude. Only the CFPB seems to show some type of care when it comes to shady and fake debt collectors.
