The UPS scam emails below will be more frequent as we get closer to the holidays, when more people are expecting deliveries. The emails were not sent by UPS, but by scammers attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking the link in them. The link goes to a fake and phishing UPS website that steals account personal and financial information.
The UPS Scam Emails

If you actually have packages in transit and get an email like the scam anbove, always look at the sender's address. If you have concerns, use one of these links to check the status of your package:
Legitimate UPS emails will come from:
- accountconfirm@ups.com
- mcinfo@ups.com
- pkginfo@ups.com
- customer-notifications@ups.com
- auto-notify@ups.com
- emailinfo@ups.com
- invoice-notification@ups.com
- donotreply@ups.com
- ups@emails.ups.com
- ups@upsemail.com
- UPSAdministrationSupport@ups.com
- no.reply@upsbilling.ups.com
Also, the U.S. Postal Service does not notify customers of package delivery attempts, or request personal information, via email.
If you receive a message that UPS is trying to deliver your package but need to confirm the package, remember, UPS don’t email you about your package and the store that you purchased from will send you a tracking number for that purchase, not an email from a individual email account.
