It appears scammers are sending text scams or calling potential victims from 850-480-7202 and other 850 area code telephone numbers. The scammers may also ask potential victims to call 8504807202. If you receive a suspicious call or text from an 850 area code telephone number, please research the text or call before participating.

Do not type Facebook and hit enter on your address bar! It will bring up an alert and a Microsoft security number (Scam) will pop up directly above your actual device security app. This is a gift card scam. The number you are connected to will be a 850 area code most likely
Who’s code is 480?
Received a text from an 850 area code number which reads. "Nusenda CU: This account was destabilized due to breach of policy, use https://securenusendacredtunion.info/login.servr/ to verify & prevent further closure." Reading it quickly made me concerned. I then read it slowly and found the errors. Also realized my CU would not be sending me texts like this. Be aware of these scams.
Rcvd. Call from 850 area code today 9/12/2022 I answered only because I'm expecting a delivery this afternoon. They are supposed to call when on their way. When answered no response!
Received a call from this number saying an attempt only amazon account kept me on the line 15 mins named some cards on my account one he named was wrong. Now I wait and watch my accounts.
