Scammers are sending the "Your Thing is Ready" package tracing text scam message below to potential victims with a link to the phishing website yourthingisready.com. The scam text message claims the recipients have a product(1.2022 v11 Dyson) pending and they need to update transport preference and shipping information. Recipients are then asked to click a link to the phishing website(yourthingisready com), which will take them to a phishing or fake USPS website that will ask them to make a payment or submit personal and financial information.
Your parcel #YJL8876S containing the following products: 1.2022 v11 Dyson. Cannot be approved for delivery pending your outstanding tax has been paid. Current outstanding balance: $1.34. More info: yourthingisready.com/4je2ju
If the requested payment or personal information is submitted on the phishing website, it will be sent to the scammers, who will use it fraudulently. Therefore, if you have been tricked into submitting your financial information by the same scam, please contact your bank for help.
