The website, Geturthings, located at geturthings.com is a spam and scam website. The website randomly redirects visitors to different spam and phishing scam websites. A popular scam being used by the website is the CitiBank text scam, where potential victims are sent a text from 312-447-1106 with a link to geturthings.com. If the link is clicked, potential victims will be redirected to a fake and phishing CitiBank website that steals CitiBank account credentials, personal, and financial information.
Online users who have received messages with a link geturthings.com are asked not to click the link or follow the instructions in the message. They can post the message along with the telephone number the message came from in a comment below.
For online users who have already been tricked into clicking links that go to the Geturthings website and who have attempted to sign into or submit their financial information to the website they were taken to, are asked to contact their bank for help.
