The website, smithgregory.com, appears to be untrustworthy. I think so because the website was registered only 3 days in Iceland, but its privacy policy was updated on January 25, 2021. How can a website that is 3 days old update its policy more than a year ago? Also, there is no physical address of the business and their only means of communication is via telephone and an online form.

It seems the original scam was under Smithgregory.com and people say that page is down now. It is back up under SmithgregoryLLC.com just FYI
They contacted me with a supposed debt from First USA. I did a little digging and First USA was bought by another bank in 1997 and doesn't exist anymore. I think I would know it if I owed $16,490.71 to someone. This is Saturday and immediately after I logged off their website (which did not require a user name and password - fishy), someone texted to ask why and if I want to pay over text. Then I found you guys. Thanks for confirming what I pretty much already knew.
funny I received the same call with the same message. Originally the calls came from a different "so called collection source" with the same distinct callers voice with the same message and the same phone number. SCAM for sure. There should be a way to hang these scammers
I received the sane message. Didn't leave a number to call, didn't use my name. Stated an address change happened. Very shady indeed. I received numerous calls in a short period of time. Does not seem legit
Exactly what they said to me, an address change had happened.
Yea, I just recieved a voicemail from them also saying the same thing.
Website is gone they do not exist. They have no information. Do not trust the calls.
I am a former debit collector; the fine message has a lot of red flags. No phone number to reach them, numerous calls in a short time. Some laws have changed but information like my name was not included and at the end stating this was a debt collector along with stating an address change on a voice mail that maybe heard by many major red flags. FYI website is gone
Just received a voicemail from Smithgregory.com. A female and male. Requesting I set up a payment plan. This is a scam.
I just got a called from this company telling me that I owe a debt and I need to log in online and they are trying not to press charges against me.
I had few calls from different phone number and give exact same messages. Scam!
