Cybercriminals are hacking social media accounts and using those accounts to contact the owners' friends or family claiming they got a huge sum of money from the Corporation of National Community Service(CNCS). The cybercriminals then claim they saw their potential victims' names on the list and encourage them to contact some so-called online claiming agent to receive their money.
The CNCS List Scam

But, the so-called claiming agent is a scammer who will attempt to trick potential victims into disclosing their personal and financial information, which will be used fraudulently. Or, the scammers may ask potential victims to send them money, which they will claim is for taxes or fees before they can receive their so-called money. But, if the money is sent, the scammers will disappear and the victims will never receive the money they were promised.
