Scamming - Fraud
Scammers are sending scam texts from 8775602415 and other 877 area code telephone numbers to potential victims, or asking them to call the same telephone number. Therefore, recipients of text messages from 877-560-2415 or text messages asking them to call the same telephone number, are asked not to follow the instructions in them. If you get a text message that appears to be from your bank, instead of following the instructions in it, contact your bank directly to verify the authenticity of the text.

I received this text message from the 877 number but didn’t notice it until afterwards. I was using my debit card fine and the account number listed was my phone number which both were definitely red flags.This was SW Wisconsin.
Received text that my debit card had been locked. Showed a 877/560-2415 call back number. The account number that was supposably locked was my phone number. The text came from; online.banking.activity, so I immediately contacted my bank to see if there were any problems with my account. There were no problems. However, many customers had contacted the bank, as I did, to report the scam .

Received this text in Louisiana…(Call 8775602415 Now! 491#) Your Debit.Card have been locked! Account-ID: 9855032618!
I received the following text from online.banking.activity Call 8775602415 Now! Your Debit.Card have been locked 725#. My debit has no such number in. Boise Idaho.
Just received this text message. Only bc I keep getting these different scam texts I knew it had to be a scam. There are also one’s going around about your social security card being tampered with. Please please be careful and safe and always double check before calling.
Just received the scam text at 12:35 PM saying debit card has been locked. North Western Wisconsin.
I recieved the following text from online.banking.activity.alerts-788@e-services.com(Call 8775602415 Now! 788#) Your Debit.Card have been locked! Account-ID: 36026!I contacted my bank and they knew nothing & my card works just fine.
