Honda 70th Anniversary Scam and Survey
The Honda 70th anniversary celebration below is a scam and it is not from Honda. The scam is being used to steal your personal data by offering potential victims a chance to win a Honda scooter by answering the surveys at a phishing website. But, they will never receive the scooter they were promised.
The Honda 70th Anniversary Scam
Honda Nepal has posted the following message to help warn the public about the scam:
"Honda Nepal is aware of the ongoing “Honda 70th Anniversary’ scam on social media that claims to be from us. directing the
recipient to a website which requests for personal information Honda Nepal has not promoted any campaigns which says
“Hondas 70th Anniversary”. The link opens up to a fake website congratulating you on winning a Honda scooter and requesting you
to share the spam message and register for the prize.
Members of the public are advised ignore such messages or anything similar and to refrain from giving their personal information in response to any of these communications The scam has been reported to Facebook and the issue has been escalated on urgent basis
