Scam Likely Calls - How To Stop Them

Some cellular carriers are using a Scam Block feature that warns their customers by displaying the message "Scam Likely." The message is used to protect against robocalls, tech support scams, IRS impersonation scams, and any kind of phone call that attempts to defraud the cellular carriers' customers. Whenever someone calls you, your cellular carrier checks that number against a database of known scam phone numbers, and if it matches a reported scammer, the caller’s number is tagged with the "Scam Likely" message to warn you that the callers may be a scammer.

You can choose to enable the "Scam Block" feature and automatically block incoming calls tagged as "Scam Likely". To enable the "Scam Block", open your phone’s dialer and dial #ONB# (or #662#). This will block incoming “Scam Likely” calls before they reach your phone.

Now, to disable the Scam Block feature and receive these calls once again, dial #OFB# (or #632#). To check whether Scam Block is on or off, dial #787#.

If you don’t want to see the “Scam Likely” tag at all, you can contact your cellular carrier's support or go to a retail store and ask them to disable the Scam ID feature.

Scam ID and Scam Block are free of charge with your T-Mobile postpaid plan
