How to Stop bot-traffic.xyz Spam Bot

The URLs go back to the website run by spammers selling fake traffic as a service. You can try to setup a filter in Google Analytics however that's going to be a lot of work. Best way to get rid of this is to setup view filters in Google Analytics Universal.

Setup View Filters in Google Analytics Universal

  • Click the Admin icon (lower left)
  • Select Filter (in right most column)
  • Select Add a filter
  • Choose custom filter, exclude from Request URL. Then build regex to remove the offending sites.
