Text message today from (347) 327-1280 claimed it was last day to claim a UPS package F57A7 from 5/17/2020. Since the tracking number is nothing like a UPS tracking number we traced the originating phone number to confirm it was a scam message.

received a text stating that it was from FedEx and that my parcel was ready for pick up. It was allegedly for an Apple delivery but wanted a $1 fee to arrange the pick up. I never heard of FedEx charging a fee so I did not opt in.

I got the same message from 347-302-4461.
They know my first name and my cell phone number.
I did not click on the link, but I replied, “Who is this? Where?”
No reply.
