The scammers are spoofing the fake emails to make them appear as if they came from Vince Camuto. This will make the fake email look legit. Therefore, recipients of suspicious emails that ask for credit card or personal information, should contact customerservice@vincecamuto.com to verify the authenticity of the same emails.

I received 3 emails on 8/24/20 appearing very legitimate, threatening lawsuits, and attempting to steal my credit card information.

Yes, I received 7 of the scam-spoofed emails early this morning. I've never even purchased anything from Vince Camuto's real website.

The emails say:

Legal action can be taken against you, there has been a problem with your order.

YOU HAVE TO VERIFY YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH THE DATE OF 08/25/2020.

WE HAVE TO DO THIS FOR YOUR PAST ORDERS AND CURRENT ORDERS. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE...THIS IS A PROCESS THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED DUE TO YOUR ACCOUNT SECURITY AND NEW LAWS

They include a phone number (866) 239-0643 telephone number which is fake and gives a "mailbox" full message. The real Vince Comuto phone number on other email ads is (855)435-5050.

Also, the links they include are obviously fakes...

I'm deleting the emails. What's wrong with these people?!?!?

I received six of them last night as well. While I have ordered from them in the last year, I didn't have any pending orders and knew better than to click any links. Stupid scammers.

Same here I received a total of six emails within a 45 minute time frame. I did call the customer service number from the real website and it did state that they were having technical difficulties with the website and to email them.

Same here...I got like 6 email saying there was a problem with my order and legal action taken against me and I almost fell for it because I have an order pending with them. The e mail looked so legit that I pressed the link but thank goodness I realized on time that something was wrong when I got same email from Sole Society's "website".

Be careful guys!
