Fake "We Came Across a Package Owed to You" or "We Found a Package from May Owed to You" text messages like the one below are scams and spams being sent by online spammers and scammers. Therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in the fake text messages.

So far we have received the fake messages from the following telephone numbers:

I also receive these messages multiple times a day. The most irritated part about it is that it is sent from different numbers every time so no matter if you block the number, it will just be sent from another one the next time it is sent. The message I just received says, "null, we found a parcel from June pending for you. Please claim ownership and schedule for delievery here: 17smv.info/rCYwmW1D8L " The number it was sent from was 1 (607)345-0977.
I get texts from this scam once or twice a day, each time from a different number. The name that they always come to is Jacoquyn, which isn't my name, nor do I know anyone who even has that name.The latest: "jacoquyn, we found a parcel from April pending for you. Kindly assume ownership and schedule for delivery here:" followed by a link. The number attached to the text this time was (508) 280-0994.

More numbers, same theme : 915 704 0998 458 205 4793 458 232 7677 774 479 9149 714 330 3368I have about sixty numbers blocked … in addition to claiming packages, most of my numbers are pushing therapeutics, probably not FDA approved, like diet supplements, male p... enhancement, etc. Why can’t someone find out who is responsible for this ❓
