Edition 2020 Facebook Promotion Lottery Scam
an anonymous user from: Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom

I have been receiving messages through facebook messenger saying that a friend of mine has won $100,000 and the cash was delivered to his house. He also said that two of his friends received cash at the door. It has since been found that another of my friends has also been hacked - that is two in total. It is a scam.

Edition 2020 Facebook Promotion Lottery Scam
an anonymous user from: Evans, Georgia, United States

I have been receiving emails from RandI Zuckerberg regarding winning a facebook lottery. In order to collect the winnings she originally asked for a $2500 fee. When I said I could not come up with that kind of money. she said she could provide a loan for that amount and I could pay back the loan from my winning. When she requested my bank information so the money could be deposited into my account, I gave her information to an account with only a few hundred dollars. She emailed back that she had deposited $9,000 in my account. When I logged into my account it was deactivated due to an investigation. I had to drive from Evans, Georgia to McCormick South Carolina (which is the closest branch of the bank) in order to close the account and get the funds. Surprise. surprise! There was only the original few hundred dollars in the account. Now she is emailing that she can get the fee waived for a fee. I will be asking her, what is the fee to waive the fee?
