Supremo Control Scam - Fake Technical Support

Although Supremo is a legit remote desktop software, cybercriminals are tricking their potential victims into giving them access to their computers via it. Therefore, if someone calls you claiming there is something wrong with your computer and they need to access it remotely, please do not follow their instructions. Remember, technical support does not call you, you call them.

Companies like Microsoft and Apple will not call and offer to fix your computer remotely. And, allowing people to take control of your computer is a very foolish idea. These people will search the files on your computer for your personal information and install malicious programs on your computer, which they will use to scam you. They may even use your computer to commit other cybercrimes, which will then be traced back to you.
