Cybercriminals are taking advantage of the release of Cyberpunk2077, one of the most anticipated games of 2020. The cybercriminals create new Android ransomware disguised as the #Cyberpunk2077 game and trick potential victims into downloading and installing it on their Android devices from a fake website imitating the Google Play Store.
As per Kaspersky, RC4 algorithm with hardcoded key (in this example – “21983453453435435738912738921”) is used for encryption. That means that if you got your files encrypted by this #ransomware, it is possible to decrypt them without paying the ransom.
