The telephone number 01147001029 is being used by scammers who are impersonating HMRC. The scammers claim the recipients need to pay outstanding taxes and threaten legal action or arrest if the recipients do not call back. HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press one to speak to a caseworker to make a payment.
