Domain World Scam - Fake Domain Name Expiration Notice
Domain name owners who have received fake domainworld.com expiration emails like the one below are asked not to follow the instructions in them. The fake emails claim the domain name owner's owner domain registration has expired and they need to renew. If the recipient clicks any of the links in the fake email, they will be taken to fake domain name registration and search engine optimization website, where they will be asked to make payment for their domain name that has not expired.

The victims of the domain name expiration scam are asked to report it to their banks in order to have the charges to their credit cards removed, which were made by the fraudulent website.
Remember, never to take up an offer sent in an email message, without first researching it. It doesn’t matter how good an email message looks, even if it contains your personal information, it can be a scam.
