The fake "Google Foundation COVID-19 Relief" email below is a scam. Therefore, recipients are asked not to follow the instructions in it. They should just delete it. The fake email is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick online users into sending them money for a relief fund hat that does not exist.

The COVID-19 outbreak is taking a devastating toll on lives and communities around the world. To help those affected, we are supporting and scaling effective solutions throughout the course of this pandemic –In this month of November, Google Ai (Artificial Intelligence) have selected you as one of our lucky recipients to receive the Google Foundation COVID-19 Relief Fund of (Two Million, Eight Hundred and Sixty-Two Thousand United States Dollars Only) from Google Foundation.

Furthermore, your detail falls within our customer-user representative office as indicated in our database and your COVID-19 Relief fund will be released to you from our regional office in London, United Kingdom. You are required to contact Google Foundation in UK below via email for more details and the documentation/processing of your fund, between the hours of 8:00am-7:30pm on Monday to Saturday.

Email body is below. Is this a scam?
