"Verizon Account Has Been Compromised" Phishing Scam
Cybercriminals are sending out fake "Verizon Account Has Been Compromised" emails to potential victims, in an attempt to trick them into clicking on malicious links in the same emails. The malicious links go to phishing websites that steal visitors' email or online account credentials, by tricking them into signing in.

Verizon users should always go directly to www.verizon.net and sign into their accounts to view important updates or notifications. And, those who have already been tricked by the phishing email are asked to change their passwords and contact Verizon before their accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently.
