Here is another scam.

I'm always getting the same thing from a ksrld-______. The first part is always the same, but the last part keeps changing. I figured out that it was a scammer right away when I saw the misspelled name of Verizon.

This scammer can't even spell Verizon correctly, they spell it Verison

I have received at least 15 of these emails. The From address always starts off as ksrld- but the domains are different.

me also and think it is funny since all of a sudden they are saying Verison and cannot spell correctly

I've been receiving these regularly. Just how stupid do they think people are. First, they id themselves as "Verison" not Verizon. (Unlike these bottom dwellers, most people know how to spell.) Second,Verizon got out of the email business a few years ago. (Anyone with a verizon.net email address knows this.)

Sadly, there a some people who are vulnerable and might be caught off guard. Otherwise, they wouldn't be doing it. If you know anyone who is vulnerable (elderly relative, etc.), please warn them.

I wish I had the know how and resources to hack into the bottom dwellers systems to wreak havoc.

I am seeing this daily on my old AOL email account also. Same sender ksrld - redpass.com and also same sender using:

faversovereak.com
ttende.sabolity.com
adexe.com

I'm sure more will be sent until some smart IT guy can shut these guys down.

Same. Get one a day or some variation of, one of which says my account locked. I forwards to phishing-verizon per their instructions but still get them.

I am a retired federal criminal investigator. The emails I have been receiving all end up in my spam folder, and the subject line refers to my account as Verizon.com instead of verizon.net.

Verizon sold out to Frontier communications in California a few years ago, and my email address was transferred to an AOL webmail account; they obviously don't know about this. LOL

Thanks to your website, I will not fall for the same scam message I received today.

If you look at the "reply" address it will be info-infusionsoft.org.uk. Just saying

I have gotten several of these recently on one of my "verizon.net" e-mail accounts, though technically there IS no verizon.net e-mail service anymore - those of us who still have that "domain" are doing it thru AOL Mail. And when I try to directly access verizon.net - my browser automatically transfers me to verizon.com.
