Verizon Password Reset Scams
Verizon users who have received emails like the one below, which claim their passwords were recently reset are asked not to click on the link in them. This is because the fake emails are phishing scams being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to steal their potential victims' Verizon account credentials. Therefore, Verizon users who have been tricked by the fake and phishing emails are asked to change their password immediately before their accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently.
