Therefore, online users are asked not to follow the instructions in those email messages. They are advised to go directly to www.usps.com and sign into their accounts from there instead. Once they have signed into their accounts, they will be notified of important messages.

I received this today in my junk email. I believe it is a scam email:

GOOD NEWS,

United States Postal Service, Postal service company (USPS) We have

been waiting for you to contact us for your parcel that has been

registered with us By IMF for shipment to your residential address. We

thought that the sender gave you our contact details. It may interest

you to know that a

letter is also added to your parcel.

However, we cannot quote the content to you via email for privacy

reasons. We understand that the content of your parcel itself is a

money order worth $100,000.00 US Dollars), $100,000.00 US Dollars for

each money order copy all in (2) two Parcel, Text me urgently with

your address full name, and email address, including your phone number

and your valid ID too .

Just got a e-mail from supposedly the United States Postal Service Notification your parcel arrived July 28, 2020. Courier was unable to deliver the parcel to you. Click here. I don't trust this because I did receive 2 packages that was expecting and I am not expecting anything else. Feel this is a Scam, Marilyn..
