The Argos Credit Limit Increase Phishing Scam

The fake "Argos Credit Limit Increase" email below is a phishing scam being sent to cybercriminals. The link in the fake email goes to phishing website that will ask visitors to sign-in. If the visitors attempt to sign-in, their Argos' credential will be sent to the cybercriminals behind the phishing scam. Once the cybercriminals have gotten hold of the stolen credentials, they will use it to gain access to their victims' accounts and use the accounts fraudulently.

Yesp, I just had this. I clicked on the button to confirm I didn't want a credit increase before thinking it might be a scam. Do I need to do anything?

I had a phone SMS about my Argos card credit will be increased.

We are in the process of increasing your limit by £500.00, but would like you to confirm you agree with this decision. hxxps://members.arqos.log1.co.uk

I tried to increase it on my argos card and it wasn't successful. Later the link what I tried to follow wasn't lead to catch people who is trying to get your personal details
