Bellsouth/AT&T/Yahoo users who have received emails like the one below, claiming their accounts have expired or outdated and they need to switch to a new version to avoid disconnection, are asked to delete the same emails. This is because the emails are phishing scams being sent by cybercriminals to trick BellSouth/AT&T/Yahoo users into visiting a fake website that will steal their account usernames and passwords.

Remember, never click on a link to sign into your BellSouth AT&T Yahoo account, always go directly to https://www.bellsouth.net, click on the "Mail" icon and sign-in from there instead. Once they have signed in, they will be notified of an upgrade or important changes if there are any.
For BellSouth/AT&T/Yahoo users who have already been tricked, they should attempt to change their passwords immediately before their accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently. For those users whose accounts have already been hijacked, they should contact BellSouth/AT&T for help.
