"Get 2 Free Ryanair Tickets on its 35th Anniversary" Giveaway Scam
The Facebook post below, which claims that Ryanair is giving away 2 free tickets on its 35th anniversary, is another social media harvesting scam. Thousands of Facebook users are being tricked into "liking", sharing or commenting on the fake Ryanair Airlines Facebook post, which claims that Ryanair is giving away the tickets. Facebook users are advised not to follow the instructions in the post or on the fake Ryanair website that the post goes to.
Facebook users who have received the fake post below on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, are ask to report it as spam or delete it. And, are ask to always check with Ryanair Airlines Facebook page located at https://www.facebook.com/ryanair/ to verify the authenticity of a promotion or giveaway.

The Ryanair Airlines ticket giveaway scam is located at the following fake website:
ryanair.com-freetickets.site
Remember, by liking, commenting on and sharing the scam, you are only helping to spread it to other Facebook users and making the scammers responsible for this, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.
Also, scammers will start sending fake messages and friend requests to the Facebook users who have commented, shared or liked the fake post. Facebook users who click on the links in the fake messages will be taken to phishing websites that steal personal and financial information, and fake websites that will trick them into installing malicious apps that will infect their computers and mobiles devices with a virus or other malware.
I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into liking and sharing a Facebook post or website, or infecting your computer or mobile device with a virus or some other malware. Therefore, if you have already liked or shared this scam, please unlike and unshare it.
