"Spin the Lucky Wheel" Facebook Like-Farming Scam

The following message is used as bait to trick potential victims into visiting the fraudulent website: www.promosnoffers.com:

“Facebook is celebrating its Birthday. Check out this SPIN THE WHEEL contest from Facebook. I just won a prize. They have prizes up to Galaxy S6 edge. Look @http://promosNoffers.com”

Once the potential victims are taken to the fraudulent website, they will be shown the following message:

Welcome to Lucky Wheel!

Spin the Wheel and you may win exclusive prizes!
Click OK to Start the Game!

Clicking the “OK” will display the following message:

Spin The Lucky Wheel!
Only this Friday we give our members 1 free spin for a chance to win exclusive prizes!

Once potential victims play the game or spin the wheel, the following message or something similar will be displayed:

Congratulations!
Your Samsung S6 has been reserved. Follow the instructions below in order to continue.

Share about "Spin the Lucky Wheel" with 10 Friends and 5 Groups .

1. Click 15x on the SHARE button (don't forget to press the 'back/home' button to continue!)!
2. Click "CONTINUE" and claim your prize.

This offer is valid for 593 seconds.

The website will then ask potential victims to like and share the scam. But, sharing the scam will only help to spread it to other Facebook users.
