MattyB Facebook Scam - My Dad and I are Giving away $100,000 Dollars and a New Car

The Facebook post and page below, which claim that rapper, MattyB, is giving away $100,000 and a new car to a lucky fan, is a Facebook like-farming scam. The Facebook post and page have nothing to do with MattyB, and is only a scam attempting to trick Facebook users into commenting on, liking or sharing it, by claiming that they have a chance of receiving the money and the new car that are being given away by the young rapper and his Dad, if they do so.

But, the Facebook post and page are fakes. Both have nothing to do with Matt and his father, because they are not giving away cash or a new car. If the post shows up on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, please report it to Facebook as spam.

Always go the the legitimate MattyB Facebook page to verify if a promotion is legit, before taking part in it.

Now, by liking,commenting on and sharing the scam, you are only helping to spread it to other Facebook users and making the scammers responsible for this, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.

I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into commenting on, liking and sharing a Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked, commented on, or shared this scam, please unlike, remove your comment and 'unshare' it.
