The email message below: "Important Document," has a malicious file (audiodg.zip) attached. The email was not sent by Microsoft and will not improve the performance of your computer. The email was actually sent by cyber-criminals, which are trying to infect your computer with a Trojan horse or other malware.

Please download and install this important file, it will improve your pc performance. This is a message sponsored by microsoft.

When we scanned the attachment (audiodg.zip), we found the file malicious 'audiodg.exe' with the following threats:

The name of the attachment may change, so be careful when opening email attachments.

If you open the attachment, your computer will get infected. And, once your computer becomes infected with this malicious Trojan horse, the cybercriminals behind this email message will be able to access and take control of your computer remotely from anywhere around the world. They may spy on you, use your computer to commit cybercrimes, or steal your personal and financial information.

Now, if you have already clicked on the malicious link, downloaded and installed the malicious file, please do a full scan of your computer with the antivirus software installed on it. The name of the attachment may change, so be careful when opening email attachments.
