You do not need to manually remove and make complex changes to your computer registry. All you have to do is, download and run the following programs: "AdwCleaner" and "Avast Browser Cleanup".

Instructions for removing Searchqu and other Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs)

  1. Download Avast Browser Cleanup. Click here for instructions to download and use this program.
  2. Download AdwCleaner. Click here for instructions to download and use this program.

After downloading these programs, ensure that you close all web browsers. Run the "AdwCleaner" program first, and then the "Avast Browser Cleanup" program.

You will be asked to reboot your computer, please do so, in order to completely remove the unwanted programs from your computer.
